WHAT IS SEAWEED LAVER?
Laver is a kinds of red algae, grow in shallow sea, absorb the nutrition from sea water and get energy from sunshine, no fertilizer or pesticide.
Laver is harvested in late autumn, only one time each year. It lasts about 3-4 months. After harvesting, fresh laver washed and drained for several times, shaped and baked by machine. Then keep in freezing condition and sell all year round.
No food colorant or food additive is added.
Because of low fat, low calorie, no sugar, rich in protein, iodine, iron, calcium etc, laver has been a healthy diet food in many asian families, especially vegetarian.

Before cooking, Wash or NOT?
Generally Speaking, seaweed was washed and infared dried, clean enough. But seaweed is dark color, can not promise 100% no impurity. So we suggest to wash before cooking.
Washing tips: please wash with warm water or brine with 4~5% salt content cool water, so as to avoid clearing away the nutrience, phycoerythrin. Please finish within 1 minute.
