JIasheng got HALAL audited by BPJPH from Indonesia

After several months’ application and communication of Halal certificate, Jiasheng finally had BPJPH auditor Ms. Indah from Indoneisa came and visited our factory in Jan. 13, 2024.

It is our first time auditing of Halal, Ms. Indah checked very carefully, from material control to workshop, production line, cleaning, warehouse, delivery. She also gave us some useful suggestions.

Seaweed naturally grows in sea, processing meets the principle of Halal. We make sure that other food ingredients used in our finished products all get halal vertification. Make halal food, make safety food are what we should do to our partners and customers.

What is Halal, MUI & BPJPH?

"Halal", originally meaning "legal", is translated into “Qingzhen" in Chinese, that is, food, medicine, cosmetics and food, medicine and cosmetic additives that conform to the living habits and needs of Muslims.

Indonesia, as the world's fourth most populous country, has nearly 220 million people, among which about 87% of the residents believe in Islam and it is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The Indonesian government stipulates that the food in the market must also be recognized by the highest Islamic organization in Indonesia, that is, the Indonesian Muslim Congress (MUI), and the food can be eaten only after obtaining the "Halal " certification. And BPJPH (Indonesia Halal Product Guarantee Agency), is one of the authoried agents of Halal by MUI.

On January 6, 1989, MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia or Indonesian Council of Ulama) established LP.POM-MUI (Food, Medicine and Cosmetics Evaluation Association). LP.POM-MUI, as an independent organization, conducts in-depth research, investigation and inspection on food, medicine and cosmetics, and then submits the results to MUI. For the peace of mind of the Muslim national spirit, MUI issues halal certificates.
